I love to reuse-repurpose what I already have on hand or use something that is in the recycle bin. It helps with the frugality and makes me think outside of the box, just a little. It also encourages my girls and Girl Scouts to consider what the possibilities could be when you repurpose something.
I love the idea of taking magazine’s and folding them down to into strips and creating a bowl out of them. It is a tedious process and probably takes more time that most of really have. However, if you have a coffee table, bone folder/paper scorer, glue sticks and/or glue gun and a good movie, you won’t really notice how much time you have spent making ONE bowl!
